Anchorage, AK – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Muldoon Rd near E 6th Ave

Anchorage, AK (September 10, 2024) – A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle on Muldoon Rd early Sunday. Anchorage Police report that the crash occurred at 12:30 AM when a Chevy pickup, traveling southbound, hit the pedestrian near E 6th Ave. The victim was declared dead at the scene by medics. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No charges have been filed at this time. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, and the identity of the victim is pending next-of-kin notification.
