Anchorage, AK – Fatal Pedestrian Crash Near Debarr Rd and Bragaw St

Anchorage, AK (September 10, 2024) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a Dodge pickup on Debarr Rd near Bragaw St early Sunday morning. According to Anchorage Police, the crash occurred at 6:35 AM when the pedestrian crossed outside a crosswalk. Bystanders attempted life-saving measures, and the victim was transported to a hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities. The victim’s identity is pending next-of-kin notification.
