Ashford, AL – Fatal Collision on HWY 84 E & CR 33 Results in One Death

Ashford, AL (August 4, 2024) – A severe accident at the intersection of HWY 84 E and CR 33 resulted in critical injuries and one fatality on August 1. Four individuals were transported from the scene by Ashford Rescue. One of the victims, a female undergoing CPR, sadly passed away. She was identified as Ms. Day from Bainbridge Georgia, an employee at Riverbend Ford. 

Authorities withheld scene photos until the victim’s family was notified. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and officials are urging anyone with information to assist in determining the causative factors.
