The Nissan struck a white 2012 Ford Explorer, driven by 23-year-old Aguilar Peregrino, who was heading north and attempting to turn left through a green light.

The Nissan was carrying 25-year-old Danielle Washington and two one-year-old children, while the Ford Explorer was transporting a four-year-old child and a five-month-old infant.
