Macon, GA – 1 Killed, 1 Critically Injured in Head-On Crash at Tucker Rd & Foster Rd

Macon, GA (August 14, 2024) – A fatal head-on collision occurred Tuesday afternoon, August 13, near the intersection of Foster Road and Tucker Road. Robert Wayne Howard, 66, was driving a Chevy Impala when it collided head-on with a BMW convertible at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Tragically, Howard was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the BMW, a 22-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Tucker Road was temporarily closed as law enforcement and emergency personnel responded to the accident.
