Wasilla, AK (August 26, 2024) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries early Friday after being hit by a vehicle on Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. The incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. when the vehicle, traveling west, struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene.
The injured pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital. Alaska State Troopers are searching for the suspect vehicle, described as a small Dodge sedan with a missing passenger-side mirror. Authorities are still gathering information and seeking assistance from the public to locate the vehicle and its driver.
