Paulding County, GA (September 5, 2024) – A small plane crash in Paulding County claimed the lives of two men on Wednesday afternoon. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the crash occurred near Crawford Rd around noon, with authorities locating the wreckage by 2 p.m.
The victims, identified as 27-year-old flight instructor Sungwook Lee of Daytona Beach and flight student Johnathan Lara of Powder Springs, were on a training flight. The cause of the crash remains unclear. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation, and further updates are expected as inquiries continue.
