Cumberland, MD – Motorcycle Crash on Ocean Gateway Results in Critical Injuries

Cumberland, MD (September 7, 2024) – A motorcycle crash with entrapment occurred on Ocean Gateway near Golf Course Rd, leaving one individual critically injured on Friday afternoon, September 6. Emergency responders, including aviation units, rushed to the scene.

Trooper 6 airlifted the critically injured patient to Shock Trauma, while other victims were transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional. The crash involved a vehicle and multiple motorcycles.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Updates will follow as more details become available.
