Honolulu, HI – Bicyclist in Injured in Collision at Keeaumoku St and S. Beretania St

Honolulu, HI (August 1, 2024) – A bicyclist is in serious condition following a crash on Keeaumoku Street and S. Beretania Street. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 31. According to Honolulu EMS, a vehicle collided with a traffic light, causing it to fall onto the bicyclist.

Emergency responders treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to the hospital. The 78-year-old driver of the vehicle was also evaluated by paramedics but chose not to go to the hospital.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and authorities are seeking additional information.
