Waldorf, MD – Severe Burn Injury from Kitchen Fire on York Ct

Waldorf, MD (August 2, 2024) – A kitchen fire at a home on York Court near Yarmouth Court resulted in severe injuries on Tuesday, July 31, at 7:56 p.m. Fire and rescue teams responded swiftly to reports of a man severely burned.

A 47-year-old man suffered extensive burns to his legs and arms, necessitating a MEDEVAC. Firefighters set up a landing zone for Maryland State Police Trooper 2, who airlifted the victim to MedStar Trauma Center.
