Lawrence, MO – Two Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Hwy 96

Lawrence, MO (August 2, 2024) – A motorcycle accident occurred on Friday, August 2, two miles west of Halltown on Hwy 96. The crash involved a 2009 Buell motorcycle and a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle, resulting in moderate injuries for both drivers.

Justice Hall, 27, from Joplin, MO, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Stanley Bears, 68, from Ash Grove, MO, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. The accident happened when Bears failed to yield and pulled into Hall’s path, causing both drivers to be ejected.
