Pompano Beach, FL – Child Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Military Trace

Pompano Beach, FL (August 4, 2024) – A child was injured in a pedestrian accident on Saturday, August 3. The incident occurred near Military Trace and West Sample Rd just after 12:15 p.m. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue units responded promptly.

Paramedics transported the child to a local hospital. The injuries were not life-threatening. The driver involved stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
