Shelby County, AL – Fatality in Two-Vehicle Collision on I-65 Near Mile-Marker 233

Shelby County, AL (August 6, 2024) – On Sunday, August 4, a two-vehicle collision on I-65 resulted in the death of an Elmore woman. Shahla Noori, 32, was driving a Toyota Corolla when it struck the rear of a 4-Runner around 1:15 p.m.

Noori was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirmed the incident and continues to investigate the crash.
