Creston, IA – Injury in Multi-Vehicle Collision on CR P33 Near 110th St

Creston, IA (August 6, 2024) – A multi-vehicle collision on Monday, August 5, resulted in injuries. The crash involved two drivers, with Phillip Ronald Williams Jr., 48, from Creston, IA, sustaining injuries. The incident occurred around 1:00 PM on County Road P33 just south of 110th St.

According to reports, Williams was traveling south when Holton Alan McCutchan, 19, from Prescott, IA, driving north, veered onto the shoulder. McCutchan overcorrected, causing his vehicle to collide with Williams’, leading both vehicles to end up in the west ditch.

Williams was transported to Methodist Hospital by LifeFlight, having sustained injuries despite wearing a seatbelt. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
