Lexington, KY – Woman Injured in Rollover Accident on Zesta Pl near Jif Plant

Lexington, KY (August 6, 2024) – Police are investigating a rollover accident that occurred on Monday, August 5, at 8:25 a.m. on Zesta Pl, near the Jif plant. Reports indicate a vehicle flipped, trapping a woman inside. 

The driver suffered a medical emergency, causing a collision with another vehicle before rolling over. Emergency crews extracted the woman and transported her to UK Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Outbound Winchester Road was closed as crews cleaned up debris. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
