Oklahoma City, OK (August 07, 2024) – Four individuals perished when a Beechcraft BE33 crashed during takeoff at Sundance Airport on Tuesday, August 6. The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to the incident around 1:30 p.m., with Capt. John Chenoweth confirmed the crash’s details.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were immediately alerted. According to NTSB spokesperson Keith Holloway, the aircraft involved was a Beech F33A, though this information is preliminary. NTSB investigators are slated to examine the wreckage today.
