Rochester, NY – Motorcyclist Injured in DWI Accident at Clifford Ave and Culver Rd

Rochester, NY (August 9, 2024) – A motorcyclist sustained upper-body injuries in a head-on accident at Clifford Ave and Culver Rd on Wednesday night, August 7. The crash happened when a car, driven by a 66-year-old man heading north on Culver Rd, turned west onto Clifford Ave, colliding with the southbound motorcycle.

The impact ejected the 38-year-old motorcyclist from his bike. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to recover. The car’s driver, who was not injured, was arrested for DWI. Authorities have not released his name.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
