Niantic, CT – Injuries Reported in Rollover Accident on Niantic River Rd

Niantic, CT (August 10, 2024) – A rollover accident occurred on Niantic River Rd at Old Niantic River Rd on Saturday, August 10, around 12:44 p.m. The vehicle was found on its side, with one person trapped inside. Emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to assist.

Rescue teams had to perform an extrication to free the individual from the vehicle. Once freed, the injured person was transported to L&M Hospital under Advanced Life Support (ALS) care. The extent of the injuries remains undisclosed at this time.
