Nashville, TN – Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Accident as Tractor-Trailer Overturns on I-24 W

Nashville, TN (August 11, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer, pickup truck, and sedan occurred on Interstate 24 West near the Davidson-Cheatham county line on Friday, August 9. The crash happened just after 5 p.m. between the Joelton and New Hope Rd exits, leading to the closure of I-24 West for several hours.

Injured patients were transported to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries is currently unknown. Hazmat teams responded to the scene due to concerns that the tractor-trailer may have been hauling chemicals. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
