Rochester, NY – Woman Injured in Four-Car Accident at Jefferson Ave and Dr. Samuel McCree Way

Rochester, NY (August 11, 2024) – A 23-year-old woman sustained injuries on Saturday, August 10, after a large truck ran a red light, causing a four-car accident at the intersection of Jefferson Ave and Dr. Samuel McCree Way. The truck, traveling on Dr. Samuel McCree Way, collided with the woman’s car as she drove down Jefferson Ave. The impact caused two additional vehicles to crash into the back of her car.

The woman was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with initially believed life-threatening injuries, which were later deemed non-life-threatening after treatment. 

Authorities plan to issue multiple traffic violation tickets to the truck driver. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further updates are expected as it progresses.
