Rochester, MN – Two Injured in Motorcycle Collision on HWY 60 at 30th Ave N

Rochester, MN (August 12, 2024) – A collision involving two motorcycles led to injuries for both riders on Sunday, August 11. The accident occurred on eastbound Highway 60 at the intersection with 30th Ave N in FARIBAULT, Rice County. The riders, identified as Larae Lundeen Fjellman, 63, and Kirk Lane Fjellman, 74, both from Lindstrom, MN, were traveling east when their vehicles collided.

Both were wearing helmets and were transported to District One Hospital for treatment. Faribault Fire Department, Police, and North Memorial Ambulance responded to the incident. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
