Fort Worth, TX (August 12, 2024) – A house fire critically injured an elderly disabled woman in Fort Worth. The blaze erupted just before midnight on Saturday in the 4700 block of Eastland Rd. Firefighters, informed that a woman might be trapped, located her on a bedroom floor and performed life-saving measures.
While extinguishing the fire, crews transported the woman to the hospital in critical condition. A second individual, escaping safely, was treated for smoke inhalation. The Fort Worth Fire Department’s Arson Investigation Unit, with Buzz the arson canine, is still probing the fire’s cause.
