Austin, TX (August 12, 2024) – A severe motorcycle accident occurred near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Saturday evening, critically injuring one person. The incident took place around 8:53 p.m. at the intersection of Cardinal Loop and Presidential Blvd. Austin-Travis County EMS quickly responded, rushing the adult victim to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The crash led to the temporary closure of the Presidential Blvd exit for eastbound Hwy 71 traffic, affecting airport access. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
