Gering, NE (August 14, 2024) – A motorcycle crash involving a Toyota Tundra on Monday, August 12, left two people seriously injured. The accident occurred at 11:30 a.m. on Hwy 26, as the Tundra attempted to turn north onto County Rd 11, colliding with the motorcycle traveling east. Both motorcycle occupants sustained serious injuries and were transported to Regional West Hospital. The Tundra driver suffered minor injuries and declined treatment.
Earlier that day, another crash on Hwy 71 south of Gering resulted in serious injuries to a Jeep driver after a collision with a semi.
Authorities are investigating both incidents and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
