Lexington, KY – Two Killed in Motorcycle-Bicycle Crash at Mason Headley Rd and Beacon Hill Rd

Lexington, KY (August 16, 2024) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified two victims in a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a bicycle on Thursday evening, August 15. The incident occurred at Mason Headley Rd and Beacon Hill Rd.

The bicyclist, 30-year-old Zachary Blessing, and the motorcyclist, 23-year-old Zachary Allen, both died at the scene from multiple blunt-force injuries. Lexington Police responded to the crash at 7:10 p.m. The road remained closed at Gettysburg and Cold Harbor during the initial investigation.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
