Florence County, SC (August 16, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash on I-95 North killed a North Carolina woman and injured another on Wednesday. The collision occurred around 3 p.m. involving a 2002 Toyota truck, a 2021 Nissan SUV, a 2017 Toyota sedan, and another truck with a trailer.
The driver of the Nissan, 50-year-old Michelle Lehnhardt Clelland from Charlotte, died at the scene. A passenger from one of the other vehicles was taken to the hospital. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under review.
