Burton Township, OH – Motorcyclist Killed in Head-On Collision on Clairdon-Troy Rd

Burton Township, OH (August 17, 2024) – A fatal head-on collision occurred on Clairdon-Troy Rd, south of Tavern Rd. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that 49-year-old Benjamin Derousse from Mantua was killed in the crash.

Derousse was traveling south in the northbound lane when he collided with a pickup truck driven by a 55-year-old from Aurora. His motorcycle veered off the road, hitting a ditch, which ejected him. He died at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
