Arrowhead Twp, MN – 3 Fatalities in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 2 near Nelson Rd

Arrowhead Twp, MN (August 17, 2024) – A tragic collision on Tuesday left three people dead. The crash occurred at 2:54 p.m. on Hwy 2 near Nelson Rd. A speeding International Semi hit several stopped vehicles, including a GMC Acadia, Ford Escape, Mack Semi, and Honda Pilot.

The driver and two passengers in the Honda Pilot were killed. The driver of the International Semi and other vehicle occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders transported the injured to local hospitals. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
