Park County, CO – Multi-Car Crash on Hwy 285 Results in Injuries

Park County, CO (August 18, 2024) – A 29-year-old male driver from Mexico was airlifted to the hospital after a multi-car crash on Hwy 285. The collision occurred just after 12:30 p.m. near mile marker 218. The crash involved a Mercedes Benz Sprinter van and a Toyota Tundra truck with a camper trailer.

The Mercedes van crossed the double yellow line and struck the Toyota truck. The severity of the driver’s injuries remains unknown. No other injuries were reported. CSP continues to investigate the incident, and more details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
