Sioux City, IA – One Injured in Semi Collision on Hwy 12

Sioux City, IA (August 20, 2024) – A collision involving multiple vehicles occurred on Monday afternoon on Hwy 12. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a semi lost control and struck two other semis, two additional vehicles, and a boat trailer.

The incident happened around noon near Hwy 12 and Talbot Rd, close to Stone State Park. One person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. No other major injuries have been reported.
