Omaha, NE – Motorcyclist Sustains Serious Injuries in Crash on 72nd St

Omaha, NE (August 22, 2024) – A motorcyclist in his 20s was seriously injured in a crash at the intersection of 72nd St and Pratt St. The accident occurred on Thursday, August 22 around 8:25 p.m. when the rider rear-ended a vehicle.

Emergency responders from the Omaha Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported the injured motorcyclist to Nebraska Medical Center under Code 3 Trauma. At the time of transport, the rider was not awake or alert despite wearing a helmet.
