Grant County, WA – Motorcyclist Hospitalized in Crash on Stratford Rd

Grant County, WA (August 23, 2024) – Colby Ralton, 29, was hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning, August 20. The accident occurred on Stratford Rd when Martha McDonald, 60, of Moses Lake rear-ended an SUV driven by Jose Rivera, 43, also of Moses Lake.

McDonald’s car spun out of control and was hit by Ralton’s motorcycle. Ralton was thrown from his bike and taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. His current condition is not known.

Rivera and McDonald refused treatment at the scene. McDonald received a citation for following too closely, while Ralton was cited for multiple offenses. Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
