Tempe, AZ – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Loop 101 at University Dr

Tempe, AZ (August 24, 2024) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a car early Saturday, August 24. The accident occurred around 1:50 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Loop 101 near University Dr. Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the scene, where the injured motorcyclist was transported to a hospital. 

No details regarding the extent of the injuries or the current condition of the victim have been provided. The southbound lanes were temporarily closed for the investigation but reopened just before 7 a.m.
