Killingworth, CT – Two Seriously Injured in Motorcycle-Truck Crash on Rte 80

Killingworth, CT (August 24, 2024) – On Friday, August 23, a serious accident occurred on Route 80 at Roast Meat Hill Rd, involving a motorcycle and a truck. The crash left two motorcycle passengers unresponsive, prompting a major emergency response.

Emergency medical services were quickly dispatched, including the request for two helicopters, Lifestar and SkyHealth, to transport the injured to nearby hospitals. Authorities set up a landing zone at Sheldon Park to facilitate the airlift of the victims.
