Lewiston, ID (August 25, 2024) – A 73-year-old motorcycle driver tragically died in a crash in the U.S. Highway 95 on Saturday, August 24. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. near milepost 308 at the entrance to the Clearwater River Casino.
Idaho State Police (ISP) reports that the motorcyclist was traveling northbound when a car attempted to exit the Casino parking lot and enter the southbound lane. The motorcycle struck the side of the car, resulting in the driver’s death at the scene.
The 85-year-old car driver and the passenger were uninjured.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
