Placer County, CA (August 26, 2024) – A 21-year-old man from Sacramento died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning, August 25 in Placer County. The crash occurred around 9:40 a.m. on Old Auburn Foresthill Rd, west of Foresthill Rd, in the unincorporated area of the county. The motorcyclist reportedly lost control and hit a metal guardrail.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the young man died en route to the hospital. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of his family.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident to determine what caused the motorcyclist to lose control. Further information will be provided as the investigation continues.
