West Allis, WI (August 26, 2024) – A high-speed police chase in West Allis ended with a rollover crash on Sunday, August 25, injuring four people. The chase began just before midnight when officers spotted a speeding vehicle. The driver fled when police attempted a traffic stop, leading them onto I-894 Southbound at West Greenfield Ave.
The vehicle exited at West Lincoln Ave, lost control, and rolled over after crashing through fencing. A 24-year-old Milwaukee driver was arrested on multiple charges, including OWI causing injury. Two officers were also injured while responding.
