McKinney, TX – Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Crash with Kia on N Custer Rd

McKinney, TX (August 27, 2024) – A 47-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into a Kia Optima on Sunday, August 27. The accident occurred around 9 a.m. on N Custer Rd. According to the McKinney Police Department, the Kia Optima was exiting a parking lot on the east side of N Custer Rd and attempted to cross the northbound lanes to turn south.

The oncoming Yamaha R6 motorcycle collided with the vehicle. Emergency Medical Services rushed the motorcyclist to the hospital, but he was later pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full details of the crash.
