Sparta, NJ (August 27, 2024) – A UTV accident on Layton Ln led to an 18-year-old being airlifted with a head injury on Monday, August 26. The teen, riding as a passenger, was thrown off when the vehicle made an unexpected turn.
He struck his head, resulting in loss of consciousness. Emergency responders quickly airlifted him to the hospital for urgent care. The incident occurred during farm work, according to Sparta Police Capt. Tom Snyder.
The driver of the UTV was cooperative with the police and exhibited no signs of intoxication. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with further details expected as it progresses.
