Scott, MO – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Accident on US Hwy 61 at Park Rd

Scott, MO (August 28, 2024) – A serious accident occurred on Wednesday, August 28, on US Hwy 61 at Park Rd, 1.5 miles north of Morley. The crash involved a 1999 Harley Davidson and a 2000 Freightliner. The Harley Davidson, driven by Dave E. Roseland, 66, was passing the Freightliner when the truck turned into its path. 

Roseland sustained serious injuries and was transported by EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. The truck driver, Noah A. Strickland, 79, was not injured and drove away from the scene. 

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
