Kearny Twp., NJ (August 28, 2024) – Kyle Silas, 52, from Orange, was killed in a crash involving his e-bike on Sunday, August 25. The incident occurred around 4:35 a.m. on I-280 near milepost 16 when Silas, riding a Fly Wing electric motorcycle, collided with a Ford sedan.
Following the collision, Silas was ejected from the bike and subsequently run over by another vehicle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to save Silas.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
