St. Johns County, FL – Fatal Motorcycle Accident on S Ponce De Leon Blvd at SR-207

St. Johns County, FL (August 29, 2024) – A motorcyclist died following a crash on Wednesday afternoon, August 28, at the intersection of S Ponce De Leon Blvd and SR-207. St. Johns County Fire Rescue responded to the scene after receiving a call at approximately 2:45 p.m.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

Southbound lanes of Ponce De Leon Blvd remain blocked as crews continue their work. Authorities are diverting traffic westbound on SR-207 and advising drivers to use alternative routes.
