Clay County, FL (August 30, 2024) – A school bus carrying 24 children was involved in a multi-vehicle accident Thursday, August 29, on Kingsley Ave near State Rte 21. The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. when a 17-year-old driver in a sedan shifted lanes, colliding with an SUV ahead.
The SUV veered left and continued westbound, striking a school bus stopped in the opposite lane. The 60-year-old woman driving the SUV sustained minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported among the bus passengers or other drivers. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
