Manchester, NJ – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash at Rte 70 and Beckersville Rd

Manchester, NJ (August 30, 2024) – A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a collision on Tuesday, August 27. The crash occurred at 3:57 p.m. at the intersection of Rte 70 and Beckersville Rd. Manchester Township Police found a red 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle on its side and its driver, 69-year-old Timothy J. O’Connor, ejected. 

A silver 2021 Toyota Camry, driven by 35-year-old Carlos I. Hernandez, had extensive driver-side damage. O’Connor sustained severe injuries to his entire body and was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Hernandez was unharmed.

The investigation into the crash continues, and authorities are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
