Bethel Twp, OH – Injuries in Motorcycle and SUV Collision at Schiller Rd and Lake Rd

Bethel Twp, OH (September 2, 2024) – A motorcycle collided with a Bethel Township Fire Department SUV on Sunday, September 1, at 8:30 p.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Schiller Rd and Lake Rd in Clark County. Ronald Gordon, 45, of New Carlisle, rode his motorcycle northbound on Lake Rd when the SUV. Traveling west on Schiller Rd, failed to yield at a stop sign. The motorcycle then struck the SUV.

Gordon sustained injuries and was transported to Springfield Regional Hospital. The SUV driver was unharmed but received a citation for failure to yield.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
