Sesser, IL – Two-Car Crash with Injuries at Hwy 154 & Rend City Rd

Sesser, IL (September 2, 2024) – A two-car collision on Monday, September 2 at the intersection of Hwy 154 and Rend City Rd left several people injured. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Sesser Fire Department responded quickly to the scene. 

Emergency Medical Services from AMR provided immediate care to the injured individuals. The extent of the injuries is currently unknown, and those hurt were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and are urging witnesses to come forward with any information.
