Elmwood Place, OH – Injuries Reported in School Bus and Vehicle Accident on Township Ave

Elmwood Place, OH (September 3, 2024) – Several people, including three children and a school bus driver. Were injured in a crash involving a school bus and two vehicles on Tuesday, September 3. The incident occurred around 2:16 p.m. on Township Ave when a speeding silver Ford SUV collided with a black Acura turning onto Sycamore St. The Ford then struck the school bus.

Three children, ages 2 to 6, in the Ford were transported to Children’s Hospital. The driver and passenger of the Ford, who were not wearing seatbelts, were taken to UC Medical Center. The bus driver also sustained minor injuries and was taken to the same hospital.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and expect to provide more updates as they become available.
