Davenport, IA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Collision on Kimberly Rd

Davenport, IA (September 7, 2024) – A serious collision on Friday, September 7, left a motorcyclist with significant injuries. The crash occurred at the intersection of Kimberly Rd and N Elsie Ave in Davenport.

Authorities reported that the motorcycle was eastbound on Kimberly Rd and ran a red light, colliding with an SUV that was making a turn. The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and sustained serious injuries. The SUV driver was unharmed.

Emergency services, including Medic EMS, responded to the scene. The injured was transported to Genesis hospital. The investigation by the Iowa State Police and Muscatine County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from Davenport PD, is ongoing. Further updates are expected as the investigation continues.
