Burke County, NC – Fatal Motorcycle Collision on Foxridge Dr

Burke County, NC (September 11, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a Jeep Compass on Monday evening near Foxridge Dr and Ledford Ave. The collision occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the Fox Ridge subdivision.

The rider, 65-year-old Stanley Leroy Paige, was transported to a local medical center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Jeep, a 30-year-old man, was not injured. The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending in consultation with the Burke County District Attorney’s Office.
