Tucson, AZ – Scooter Rider Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Crash at 22nd St and Kolb Rd

Tucson, AZ (September 12, 2024) – A person riding an electric scooter sustained life-threatening injuries following a crash at 22nd St and Kolb Rd late Wednesday, September 11. The Tucson Police Department reported that the accident occurred around 9:30 PM.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene and closed the intersection as they worked to assist the injured rider. As of 10:20 PM, the area remained closed, and drivers were advised to avoid the location.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash, and further updates are expected as the inquiry progresses.
